Cardificer's Foundry is a deckbuilding roguelike that merges itself with staples of the turn based RPG genre. Players gather together a part of randomly generated characters, each with their own decks created from the game's 80+ different cards. Each playthrough takes the player through three different areas each with their own traps, enemies, bosses, and minibosses. The game's combat is strategic and varied with a plethora of buffs and debuffs as well as special mechanics across 10 different elemental types.
As lead programmer on Cardificer's Foundry, I developed and designed all of the game's core combat mechanics, included all of the cards and buffs, as well as enemy, inventory, and shop functionality.
Cardificer's Foundry was created by a team of 4 in 4 months using the Unity engine.
