Equilibrium is a 3D puzzle game where you manipulate different puzzles to get each side of the cube to have the same value. As you progress, more sides of the cube unlock, requiring more complex and creative solutions in order to get them all in equilibrium. The game hinges around the console mechanic, which allows you to "hack" different sides of the cube to set them to values that are otherwise not allowed. Every stage of the game have a wide variety of different solutions, promoting players to approach each puzzle in their own way.
As creative director on Equilibrium, it was my job to manage the project's direction and scope, as well as make sure the project was on track to meet our tight deadlines. Despite our team's lack of 3D knowledge both in art and programming, Equilibrium ended up being a great success, and is, in my opinion, the best of the projects our team created.
Equilibrium was created by a team of 5 in 4 weeks as a prototype using the Unity engine.
