Love.ly is a narrative based game about gender, sexuality, and the culture of dating apps. Players take the role of Liam, a bisexual man in his early 20s, and attempt to navigate the complexities of queer dating.
As the creative director on Love.ly, my job was to make executive decisions over narrative, mechanics, and scope. I wrote much of the story, developed the UI and mechanics, and lead the game's art direction.
Love.ly was created by a team of 5 in 4 weeks as a prototype using the Unity engine.
